Hot Ones Band

Hot Ones Band is an Aruba-based Carnival music group with documented participation in the island’s Aruba Caiso & Soca Monarch (ACSM) competition. Official festival records and the Aruba Caiso & Soca Monarch YouTube channel show the band performing with multiple vocalists across caiso and soca categories. The group has appeared with performers including Lord Lally, Queen T and Soca Mafia, establishing Hot Ones Band as an active part of Aruba’s competitive Carnival music scene.

The band’s repertoire is verifiably connected to soca and caiso/calypso performance. In the official 2024 ACSM finals documentation, Hot Ones Band is listed with Lord Lally and Soca Mafia in the competition program. Official Aruba Caiso & Soca Monarch video coverage also documents Hot Ones Band performing in the 2024 Caiso finals with Lord Lally on “Love, Money & Sex” and Soca Mafia on “Never Give Up.” These appearances confirm the band’s role as a live backing and competition band rather than a solo recording act.

Hot Ones Band remained highly visible during the 2026 Aruba Soca Monarch season. Official ACSM pre-final coverage lists the band with three performers: Lord Lally performing “The Lizard Kaking,” Queen T performing “Carnival Party,” and Soca Mafia performing “Feelin It.” The same official program credits Soilo Sanchez as composer of “The Lizard Kaking” and Emil Krozendijk as arranger. Queen T’s “Carnival Party” and Soca Mafia’s “Feelin It” were also arranged by Krozendijk.

The group’s biggest verified recent performance highlight came in the 2026 ACSM finals. Official Aruba Caiso & Soca Monarch coverage documents Lord Lally and Hot Ones Band performing “The Lizard Kacking” in the final, with Lord Lally ultimately taking the 2026 Soca Monarch title. The competition’s official YouTube channel also published the winning finals performance. This places Hot Ones Band behind one of the season’s most prominent Carnival performances.
