Sasha Figueroa

Sasha Figueroa is an Aruban singer with deep roots in the island’s music and cultural scene. Born in Aruba, she grew up in a musical environment alongside her siblings, while her mother, Martha Figueroa, founded the children’s singing and dance group Pierewietje. Sasha later became associated with the band Tsunami, achieving recognition both locally and internationally. Her career also includes participation in Aruba’s Carnival music traditions, particularly calypso and roadmarch competitions, demonstrating her connection to the rhythmic sounds and celebrations that form an important part of Aruban culture.

Over the years, Figueroa has remained visible as a live performer in Aruba.
