The Aruban Roots Adventure Aruba is a three-hour guided ATV and UTV tour operated by Kini Kini Transfer & Tours. Guests travel by 4WD all-terrain vehicles on an itinerary combining off-road riding with stops at several landmarks in northern Aruba. The tour currently operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Current vehicle options include a single ATV, double ATV and two-seater UTV, accommodating one or two guests depending on the selected vehicle. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Guests younger than 18 may participate only as passengers.
The published route includes the Aruba Aloe Factory, Alto Vista Chapel, Wariruri and Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins. At Aruba Aloe, the tour includes information about aloe cultivation and processing, while the other stops combine historical landmarks with Aruba’s northern coastal and inland terrain.
A water bottle and helmet are included with the tour. Hotel pickup and drop-off and cruise-terminal transportation are also included, with free shuttle service available from most hotels and Airbnbs within Kini Kini’s designated pickup area. Guides are available in English, Spanish and Dutch, with Portuguese available upon request.
Current prices are US$115 for a single ATV, US$145 for a double ATV and US$180 for a two-seater UTV. Kini Kini states that the tour operates normally in rain but is cancelled when thunder and lightning are present. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance qualify for a full refund.
