About this experience
Kitesurfing Lessons Aruba by Aruba Active Vacations take place at Fisherman’s Huts Beach in Noord. Lessons are available for complete beginners as well as experienced riders working on advanced techniques or kitefoiling. Instructors teach in English, Dutch and Spanish, and the current participation range is ages 8 to 80.
Guests can choose between private and group lessons lasting two or three hours. Private sessions are one-on-one with an instructor, while group lessons accommodate a maximum of three participants and share an instructor and kite. Current individual lesson prices range from US$130 to US$260, depending on duration and format.
The lesson program progresses through structured stages. Beginners start with wind theory, the power zone and kite control on land before moving into body dragging, kite relaunching and safety systems in the water. Later lessons introduce water starts, board handling, riding, balance, edging and riding upwind. Advanced coaching is also available for transitions, jumps, freestyle techniques and kitefoiling.
All necessary technical equipment is included, including the kite, control bar, board, harness, helmet and flotation vest, with radio headsets used where needed.
